Beatrice is driven by equal opportunities and empowering young people to achieve their unique and full potential—regardless of their goals and, most importantly, regardless of the circumstances they faced growing up. In 2013, she turned the page on an intrapreneurial career, having served as a managing director and partner, to embark on a new venture grounded in her vision of a world where young people and future generations have access, as early as possible, to the information that enables them to create change in their lives entirely by themselves.

Being able to achieve one's potential entirely on one’s own, no matter the circumstances one faced while growing up, is what defines Beatrice's journey.

"What made a difference in my life? What essential lesson did I learn that allows people to navigate this world and even achieve what seemed impossible? At the core of our life experience is information. If every young person has access to the information they need to realize their full potential—delivered in a way that they can absorb and turn into effective strategies on their own—then we are truly giving them power over their lives."– Beatrice Baughn

For several years, Beatrice pursued training programs in child and adolescent psychology and coaching. She developed an interest in neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and gamification, and she explored technological solutions that could transform her concept into a large-scale, personalized, and autonomous learning experience personalized to the needs of each young person.
To achieve her ambition of creating an impact, Beatrice moved to Canada in 2016 thereby creating a bridge between Europe and North America. She spent over two years learning North American culture and obtained permanent residency.

During these years immersed in a new culture—including a move to New York in the United States—Beatrice continued her R-D process, bringing together specialists in key fields such as educational technology, artificial intelligence, and educational media. This allowed her to design a solution capable of making a real difference in the lives of adolescents. She founded the startup Unicorn Hearts and brought on two co-founders who share her vision and contribute their expertise.

Beatrice has over 15 years of experience in strategy, business, and operations during which she oversaw the growth of a small company in France into a national group with several thousand employees. In this fast-paced journey, she managed budgets and oversaw the mergers of commercial and operational organizations, handled key strategic client accounts, conceptualized and led the development and deployment of various performance and sales management tools, managed company culture as well as safety and certification processes. As a member of the board of directors for the national group, she has extensive experience in investor relations and crisis management.
